Throughout Southeast Asia and other developing regions, there are far too many children living on the streets, barefoot, malnourished, with no loving parents to care for them.
During his travels, Nick has seen children in heartbreaking conditions, living under bridges, next to busy roads, exposed to the elements and vulnerable. He loves feeding these children and talking to them. But there's only so much one man can do. That's where the vision for the Sanctuaries was born.
This vision doesn't live in Nick's heart alone. Timote carries it just as deeply. Both founders believe BLT must lift both: families building better lives, and children with no one to protect them.
Anything less wouldn't be worth building.
BLT's 25-year mission is to build 100 Sanctuaries worldwide for these children.
Not shelters. Sanctuaries. Where children aren't just given a roof, they'll be raised with love, educated with care, and given the safety, dignity, and hope they deserve, so they can break free from the poverty cycle and grow into dignified, capable adults.
This isn't a marketing line added to make the company look good. This is woven into the DNA of BLT. It's one of the two core reasons BLT exists:
One mission fuels the other. As families grow stronger, more children are lifted up.
